Benjamin Spaulding wrote the first woodworking course in 1956 for the Mark V manufactured by Magna Power Tool Corporation.  This new course is designed specifically for the 21st century generation of multi-purpose woodworking machines manufactured by Shopsmith L.P.  This course is the only course to be field tested by actual owner/users.     Shopsmith Jacobs Drill Chuck MC8K26 NOS

    From 1972 to 1992 all Jacobs drill chucks for the Shopsmith were made by the Allen Manufacturing Company in Hartford, Connecticut.  Today all Shopsmith drill chucks are made in China.  I have come across a limited supply of these rare high quality drill chucks.  They are all brand new, never used.  The drill bits will not fall through the chuck like the current ones made in China.  Extremely high quality!
