Steve packaged the shipment perfectly, including some custom cut blocks of wood to protect the tubes and packaging. Looking forward to the stability of using a single set of tubes that span from end to end.
They are a foot longer than OEM tubes. They are slightly more expensive than OEM, but a tiny bit less if priced by the foot. They arrived super well packed. The finish on them is more brushed metal rather than chromed. We'll see if that leads to any corrosion issues down the line.
They are ideal for creating a long set of stable tables on a common tube.
I’m sorry to say, I am disappointed. The package took nearly two weeks to get to my door. The end of the box was ripped off and the tubing was exposed. The box had a lot of crush marks. And when I pulled the tubes out of the remainder of the box, I found one of the tubes was slightly bend. For the price I paid for two tubes and shipping the box should have been better with a piece of wood added for more support. I feel you should have anticipated this kind of rough handling with such an odd shaped package and taken better precautions.
Works as expected as well as the purchase experience.
